Must be an active follower of Christ & love the story of scripture to share with children. Responsible for directly supervising, instructing, managing and engaging with children. Work collaboratively with other educators and staff to promote a positive and cohesive team environment. Communicates with parents effectively and lovingly. Position requires willingness to continue learning & embrace professional development. Background in education or a Florida Staff Credential is desired. Must have successful completion of the Florida Department of Children & Families 45-hour Child Care Training with a current CPR and First Aid certification. Provide a positive, safe, stimulating, and inclusionary learning environment Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities Provide constant supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of each child within the learning center Maintain open and effective communication with parents and families Work collaboratively with other educators and staff to promote a positive and cohesive team environment Screen and assess children to determine developmental and educational needs Float to various classrooms to provide breaks and coverage
