About the job
We are looking for someone to help us after school for three hours, 3 days a week. School pick up is necessary so a reliable vehicle is a must. I have a lovely 14-year-old daughter who requires nothing but a ride home. My son is mentally around five and loves to play. He loves bike riding, swimming, going to the park, running errands, playing with toys, vacuuming, and doing laundry. N functions around the level of a 5-year-old mentally/emotionally. Physically he has difficulty with surface transitions and needs assistance. He walks and talks but some words can be hard to understand. We're looking for someone with special needs experience. The ideal person for us will have a caring but firm personality. N is not violent/aggressive, but he can be stubborn at times when told no (like any young child).
