Family in Tampa, Florida is seeking a very flexible short-term Rotational Nanny to join their busy, extremely active family. Family is planning to relocate to the Houston, Texas area March/April 2025 and will hire a Houston based Nanny long-term. Family travels frequently roughly 4-6 months per year in Portland. When traveling outside of Tampa, a separate housing unit will be provided for the nanny (on or off property). Because the position is extremely heavy on travel, there will be no overnight travel stipends with this position. Location: Tampa, FL, 33629 Start Date: ASAP Children: male twins 03/2021 Compensation: $25-$30/hr Schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off (current schedule) Description: Note: Family has hired their first nanny for this position and is hiring a second nanny. They are open to a different rotating schedule to accommodate both Nannies' preferences. Duties will include: Engaging the children in meals (family has a chef - lunch and dinner will be provided for the nanny) as well as age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities, such as books, music, walks, play, arts/crafts, games, activities, park, classes, outings, etc. Keeping the common areas and child's area tidy (the family has a housekeeper for deep cleaning), children's laundry and packing as needed Transportation as needed to various activities (excellent driving record required), a car will be provided when not in home city Be available and open to assisting with a homeschool program family is considering starting the twins in homeschool this month Nanny should be: Extremely flexible with schedule and adaptable to change Experienced, confident, and capable with preschool-age children Experienced with homeschooling preschool/kinder curriculum A self-starter who is proactive, taking the initiative to plan activities and maintain a routine Active, energetic, and outdoorsy Seeking a long-term position Safety-minded, particularly in public An excellent communicator Creative and fun Adept at creating and following a daily schedule that works toward meeting developmental and educational goals Discreet, willing to sign an NDA and respectful of the family's privacy, experience working with high-profile families is a plus A team player, able to work well with other household staff, as well as transition with other ROTA nanny A travel lover, willing to fly commercial and private, willing to sit in the backseat with the children (not get carsick), and must have a passport (or be willing to get one) if international travel is required Preferred, but not required: Bilingual English/Spanish Required: Teaching background and/or education, child development, or related degree, a Montessori background is also desired Both parents are still heavily involved and enjoy spending time with the kids.
