This is unusual. My son is a senior in high school and very mildly autistic. He has a car and can drive himself to school. However he cannot consistently remember to take his medication, the important hygiene's, proper diet and get himself to sleep and wake up for school without an adult. I need to travel for work and sometimes internationally. I have learned that he's just not ready to live in my home alone. He is not aggressive, or argumentative... except about politics. I should also state that since he is mildly autistic he has no romantic interests. He's very bright and will try to impress you, but only to gain your respect. I have a very comfortable guest room. He can sleep through any alarm and will need help getting up, taking his daily medicine and reminder to take care of ALL of his morning hygiene's. He can drive himself to school at 6:40 for 7:05 bell. Nothing further is needed until about 5:00 when he will need reminded to take care of his laundry, prepare himself dinner that is nutritious, and to clean the kitchen. He also will need a reminder of a firm bedtime and that his phone is to be left downstairs. If not he will watch history or political videos all night.
