Seeking Experienced Caregiver for Child with Autism I'm looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced caregiver to provide support for my son, who is on the autism spectrum. The primary hours for this position will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, with the possibility of additional hours based on early school dismissals, school holidays, or other scheduling needs. Key Responsibilities: Safely pick up my son from school and transport him home Provide ongoing care and supervision, ensuring his safety and well-being at all times Assist with daily routines, including feeding him his snack and dinner Offer emotional support and create a calm, structured environment that meets his unique needs. Requirements: CPR and First Aid Certification (required) Proven experience working with children on the autism spectrum, with an understanding of behavioral challenges and communication differences Ability to create a structured, predictable routine while also being flexible when needed Patience, empathy, and a positive, proactive attitude The right candidate will be someone who is comfortable working with a child who may have sensory sensitivities, communication differences, and may require additional guidance in social settings.
