My son, J, is 18 and has special needs. He is autistic and functionally nonverbal; he's also adorable with the best smile, gives the best hugs, and is pretty easy to take care of. Our current caregiver is a graduate student in Occupational Therapy and has been with us for a year. She is available to help train in April before she leaves for her internship in May. I'm looking for a helper on Tuesday & Thursday (4pm-10pm) and on Friday evenings or Saturday afternoons/evenings a few times a month. The weekend schedule can be coordinated. J enjoys walks, going to the neighborhood pool, going to the beach, and watching movies at home.
