Im a single mom of three children: a 14-year-old boy, a 9-year-old boy, and an 8-year-old girl. My oldest is independent and doesn't require much supervision, so I primarily need after-school care for my youngest two. Care would involve picking them up from school at 3:15 PM, babysitting them until I get home from work around 6:30 p.m. (work ends at 5 PM, but traffic can delay me). There is potential for before-school care in the future. Both of my younger kids are overcoming developmental delays, and my 9-year-old son has autism with a speech impairment. He uses a speech device to communicate, and he responds well to visual learning, such as using images if needed. Helping them with homework is preferred. Their ideal caregiver is patient, attentive, and understanding of their unique needs with reasonable and affordable rates.
