My name is Asiyah, and I recently gave birth to a baby girl on November 26th, 2024. My husband and I are currently caring for our little one, and we live in the NoMa neighborhood of Washington, DC. My husband will return to work (from home) in the second week of January, and I plan return to work (from home) in the second/third week of February. We feel we could use some help with the transition as we balance work and caring for our baby. Our baby is breastfeeding well and also drinks expressed milk from a bottle. She is mostly breastfed, but she has a bottle once a day, usually in the morning. She is a very alert and active baby. We are seeking assistance with baby care, especially learning how to manage the work transition, putting the baby to sleep on her back in the crib, side-lying breastfeeding positions, and baby-wearing.
