As a Now Nanny at Philadelphia Nanny Network, you'll be the backbone of our childcare team, offering vital backup for colleagues and immediate relief for working parents in urgent need. Your readiness to fill in during unforeseen circumstances will keep our operations smooth and families satisfied. Responsibilities: Remain available during assigned on-call hours to respond to last-minute child care requests and back up to assigned nannies. Provide engaging, safe, and nurturing care to children of various ages, from infants to pre-teens. Adapt quickly to different household environments and routines. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about the care provided and any relevant updates during the service period. Maintain a professional demeanor and respect family privacy. Follow all company guidelines and standards for quality care. Job Details: Start and end times vary, typical 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday Weekend work is available by choice as a Substitute Nanny Must be willing to travel up to 75 minutes. May have travel time over 45 minutes paid. (New York is 90 minutes with over 1 hour travel paid travel time) Requirements: Proven experience as a nanny, child care provider, or in a similar role. Checkable references supporting experience Flexible schedule with the ability to work on-call, including evenings, weekends, and potentially holidays. Reliable transportation to reach various job locations in the area promptly. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage children in age-appropriate activities. First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain. Must pass a comprehensive background check. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, further education in early childhood education or related field is a plus. Strong understanding of child development stages. Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
