Companion/Caregiver for young man with cerebral palsy. He has a pleasant personality. He is non-verbal, deaf and unable to walk, sit or move on his own. caregiver will need to dress, bathe, change diapers, prepare food for tube feedings, transfer using hoyer lift from bed to wheelchair, change bed linens, minimal laundry and cleaning. Play fun games (will teach you how) provide stimulating visual interactions. Silliness is encouraged. He is easily entertained and quick to smile. Just be a friend. 3-5 hours or so a day . Schedule very flexible. Mornings, afternoons or early evenings. Occasionally accompany mom taking him to Dr. appointments. Knowledge of special needs issues helpful. Sign language helpful. Parents usually on site.
