Full-Time Nanny Needed in Weston, CT We are seeking a nurturing and experienced Full-Time Nanny to care for two children, a 2-year-old and a 4-month-old. The ideal candidate embodies the principles of gentle parenting and is familiar with Montessori and Waldorf educational approaches. We are looking for a calm, patient individual who can engage with children in a playful and imaginative way while promoting a positive, health-conscious environment. Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Start Date: April 1, 2025 Compensation and Benefits: Pay: $30-35/hour (DOE) Guaranteed hours Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays and sick days Commitment: 5 months OR 5-10 years Key Responsibilities: Provide attentive and loving care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being Implement educational and developmental activities aligned with Montessori/Waldorf philosophies Foster a nurturing and engaging atmosphere, encouraging curiosity and creativity Prepare healthy meals and snacks, promoting a health-conscious lifestyle Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and needs Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience CPR and First Aid certified Knowledgeable about child development and early education methodologies Must be at least 21 years of age Willingness to undergo a background check/MVR Comfortable with two friendly dogs Emotionally mature and able to provide a calm presence in the household
