About the job
Family needs someone to play with our 5-year-old high functioning autistic son while parent works from home. Caregiver will take child to park, go on runs/bike rides, play in front yard, or meet us at a park, beach, while I work. Exact hours can be flexible, but we need coverage roughly for Mondays 9-2 and possibly Fridays, 9-1:30- Its ok if you can only do some of the needed time slots. Need someone who someone who is bubbly and kind, connects easily with young children, and energetic, outgoing, can run fast (when hes biking), attentive, creative with play, reliable, punctual. Person must be non-reactive but still be compassionate in times when child is dysregulated. Parents will offer support to the caregiver to a) understand his needs, b) learn how to accommodate him.
