We're looking for a caregiver for a 24-year-old adult male in Shelton, Connecticut. YOU MUST HAVE PAST EXPERIENCE IN SPECIAL EDUCATION OR CARE GIVING. This is not your typical babysitting or nanny position. This hands-on position demands your full attention and interaction throughout the entire shift. The person you would be in charge of is 24 years old, severely autistic, nonverbal, and has sensory issues. We require that the individual have their own reliable vehicle. You must not be a smoker. Be active and energetic. You will be required to walk anywhere from three to five miles each day. The hours will be 9:00 a.m. 12:30 p.m. , Monday through Friday. These hours are not negotiable. Those with no prior experience need not apply.
