About the job
We are looking for a companion and task coach for a young adult with high functioning autism (completely verbal - and fun - and physically functioning. Life skill development needs and companionship to give parents time off) in Old Saybrook. Days and duration are flexible. Afternoons and some evenings at times if you are free. We need someone who can teach and oversee tasks (simple meal prep, laundry, room pick up etc) We prefer a person who has their car, does not smoke, is comfortable with a dog and has a college degree. Person is ideally patient, social/engaging and likes to laugh. Chemistry with our daughter will be critical.
