We are seeking a certified experienced Lead Teacher to join our Christian preschool community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to providing a nurturing environment for our students. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for leading a team of teachers and supporting the academic and personal growth of our students. Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations of the classroom, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment for all students. - Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum, incorporating various teaching methods, including Montessori. - Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere. - Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning. - Conduct standardized testing and assess student progress to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions. - Provide individualized support and guidance to students, addressing their unique needs and abilities. - Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Experience: The successful candidate will have significant experience working with children in an educational setting. They will be familiar with classroom management techniques and have a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. Experience in a private school environment is highly desirable, as is experience with standardized testing and math instruction. The ideal candidate will also have a background in child welfare and be committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
