We have two great families in Greenwich, CT that are looking for an extra set of hands on the weekends. This could be 1-2 weekends a month and approximately 8 hours/day. Ideally you are highly organized and have experience supporting families with school-age children. The parents are seeking team players who are competent, hardworking, detail oriented, and willing to pitch where needed. You should be kind, active, fun-loving, and adaptable. You must communicate clearly and effectively. Responsibilities will vary but will include: - Actively engage with the children in age-appropriate activities - Drive the child to activities and appointments - Work as a team with the parents to ensure the family's day runs smoothly - Prepare fresh and healthy meals and snacks and encourage healthy habits - Assist with light housekeeping, tidying the play areas, cleaning up after snacks/meals, laundry, etc. - Assist with the care of a well-trained dog - Run errands as requested - Help with preparations if the family is entertaining Qualifications: - Previous experience in a similar role - First Aid and CPR Certified or willing to be certified - Strong swimmer - Outstanding and verifiable references - Valid driver's license Schedule: The families are looking for year-round support on Saturdays and Sundays but do not need help every weekend. They are open to various scenarios. Largely daytime hours but there may be opportunities for additional hours if that appeals to the candidate.
