We have an 11-year-old daughter (12 in early November). The morning assignment (M, W, F) is to ensure she successfully makes it to the school bus on time. Duties include: making "wake up" fun, ensuring shower is completed in a reasonable time, making breakfast, giving medication and serving as a fashion consultant and hair stylist. Monday and Thursday from 3-4 p.m. is transitioning from bus to gymnastics practice. Duties include greeting off bus stop, making sure she has a snack and water bottle packed and is dressed appropriately for practice. The drop off is at Gymnastics Center Wednesday from 3-6 p.m. is a relaxing time starting with greeting off bus, providing a snack, helping with homework, doing a craft, playing a game or chilling with TV.
