My daughter is 23 and will be coming home from Neuro rehab within the next few months. She will need 24/7 care, some of which I will provide, but at this time she is 100% dependent for all cares (bathroom, transfers, feeding, showering, mobility?) Kiley (My daughter) suffered an anoxic brain injury on 3/17/24 due to a domestic violence incident. She was deprived of oxygen to her brain for over 5 minutes, so there are parts of her brain that are completely dead and will never repair. With therapy (which will need to be done at home multiple times/day) she will hopefully be able to return to prior level of functioning, but with some deficits. The part of her brain affected was her cerebellum and her motor skills as well as sensation have been affected. I don't know at this time the level of care she will need at home. Thank you.
