The primary responsibility of the caregiver will be to manage our son's morning routine so that he is ready for school and is then taken to school by the caretaker. Our child is a 14-year-old boy who is on the autism spectrum and struggles with depression and anxiety. He currently attends a private school where he receives individualized instruction. His schedule is more like that of a college student's with classes starting and ending at different times throughout the week. An ideal day would include waking up our son mid-morning, typically between 9-10 a.m. Making sure he takes his meds, prepare his school lunch and then drive him to school in time for his first class of the day. After dropping at school we have additional household chores to complete such as walking the dogs, light cleaning and evening meal preparation.
