Swimming In Littleton

Seeking a compassionate caretaker for our special needs young adult son who lives with cerebral palsy. This job is for every or every other Saturday and should be taken from someone who can commit for at least one year. The job includes spoon feeding our son lunch, helping with two person transfers (95lbs), going swimming in a therapy pool for one hour at a local recreation center, giving a shower, and possibly helping with giving water through a g-tube. You will be working alongside our family (mainly mom and/or dad) as our son's care requires a team effort. Special equipment that is used: wheelchair, changing table, adaptive toileting seat, adaptive van, hospital bed, and neck floatation device. Our happy-going son hopes to find a caring caretaker to help him and we are willing to train unexperienced applicants.
