My son is an infant, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable and has experience caring for newborns. My sons day usually starts around 6 to 7 a.m. and he will have his first feed of the day shortly after he wakesHe is usually at his most alert and happiest in the morning so we will follow his feed with some tummy and play time. Then about 2 to 3 hours after his first feed, he will eat again and sometimes hell have a nap in between. After his second feed, I will usually try to put him down for a nap. The same schedule goes on throughout the day, eating every 2-3 hours - sometimes he naps well after feed and play time, and sometimes he doesnt. He loves interacting with people and hearing your voice so I often will sing to him or talk to him about what Im doing throughout the day. He is a sweet boy who loves to be held and rocked.
