About the job
We are a local family just 5 minutes from CMU looking for a part-time nanny (4-13 hours a week) for a 5-year-old boy and a 3-year-old boy who has developmental disabilities. Hours and days are somewhat flexible although needed in the morning and the afternoon. Wed be happy to work with the right candidate to find a schedule that would work for all. Both boys will be home from school in the summer. The nanny will be responsible for their care and providing developmentally appropriate and engaging activities. The 5-year-old is typically developing and loves to learn and play. The 3-year-old is developmentally delayed and needs support with eating, bottles, and diapers. He is able to walk, but needs help with transfers. He developing in speech, loves to play, and is very sweet. He has epilepsy, but seizures are currently controlled.
