Full time nanny in Berkeley/Tennyson area starting Feb 3rd (a little flexible on start date either slightly before or after), Monday thru Friday 9am-5 p.m. $25-30/hr (no room for negotiation over $30, would prefer to be in the $25-28/hr range) (PTO and sick days available and to be discussed). Poppy will be 5. 5 months when we start. We have one 45 lb dog and we are looking for a dog loving nanny who would be able to take him for a walk with Poppy 1x per day (with Poppy in stroller or carrier). We want to be sure our nanny respects nap and feeding times and especially important to make sure she is engaging in age appropriate play and experiences. Being out and about, social and engaged while also incorporating the much needed rest and cuddle time is important to us. We would like our nanny to take Poppy to a class or two that we'd sign her up for in the neighborhood. We would encourage a lot of outdoor time and time at the park. We would like nanny to do light housework - laundry and tidying up toys and wiping down the kitchen after use/putting dishes she/Poppy are using in the dishwasher, taking packages inside the house, etc. Ideally we'd like our nanny to have her own car. We are looking for a stable, experienced and longer-term nanny to be a very important part of our family as Poppy grows. Must be non-smoker, vaccinated, CPR certified, and comfortable with dogs.
