About the job
We are looking for a warm, attentive, and experienced temporary nanny for our infant and toddler (they will be 1 and 3 years old in May). Our au pair had to return home unexpectedly, and were starting the search for a new long-term caregiver. This role could last a few weeks or until September, depending on fit. We value respectful caregiving (RIE, Montessori, Reggio, or Waldorf-inspired) and do not use sleep training. Responsibilities include engaging, developmentally appropriate care, child-led play, meal/snack prep, light tidying, and supporting naps responsively. This role would include preschool pickup for our daughter so a clean driving record is a must. Ideal candidates are calm, reliable, and experienced with young kids. The weekly schedule is somewhat flexible. CPR certified and open to the occasional date night is a plus.
