Pay/Benefits: $28-$30/hr commensurate with experience. 2 weeks paid vacation. 1 hour of paid sick time accrued per every 30 hours worked (max 48 hours/year). 8 paid holidays. Guaranteed 25-40 hours/week based on nanny preference. Start & Schedule: Flexible start - once the right fit is found. Full time option: M-Th 8am-5 p.m. & F 9am-1 p.m. Part time option: M-F 12pm-5 p.m. (flexible on Friday's) About the family: This family has a smart, independent 4-year-old girl and a happy, silly 2-year-old boy who are both full of energy! The children are at stage of learning effective communication, experiencing big feelings, and potty training. They thrive with positive reinforcement and observing appropriate behavior modeled by adults. Given the family's busy schedule, they seek a nanny who will proactively plan activities to keep the children engaged, learning, and having fun while keeping their home running smoothly! The ideal candidate should be confident in their abilities and possess an extensive repertoire of age-appropriate activities. The eldest attends a full-time preschool program and the youngest will be attending a half-day morning program. While the children are in school, the nanny will focus on household management duties. The nanny will need to use their own vehicle for child transportation and is encouraged to organize playdates and outings to parks, rec centers, museums, and zoos, subject to parental approval.
