Winton Wonders Daycare is a family-focused daycare dedicated to providing a nurturing, fun, and supportive environment for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. We are committed to creating a warm, safe space where children can grow, learn, and thrive. As we prepare for our opening in January, we're looking for an energetic, caring, and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team.
Job Description:
As a Daycare Teacher at Winton Wonders Daycare, you'll be responsible for implementing and executing our pre-established curriculum while providing exceptional care and guidance to children. You'll work with children ranging from 6 weeks old to 12 years old, creating a fun and engaging learning environment. You must be energetic, cheerful, and passionate about working with kids to support their emotional, cognitive, and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute the provided curriculum in a fun, engaging, and effective way
Provide individualized care and attention to children of various age groups (6 weeks to 12 years old)
Foster a positive, supportive, and safe environment for all children
Encourage and guide children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play, structured activities, and hands-on learning
Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times
Communicate effectively and regularly with parents, providing updates on children's progress and daily activities
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
Participate in team meetings and staff training sessions
Requirements:
Must be energetic, fun, and happy with a passion for working with children
CPR certification (required)
16 hours of Pediatric First Aid (required)
Up-to-date TB test (required)
Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a team and build positive relationships with children and families
