My husband and I commute for work. We are both firefighters and work between 24-48 hour shifts. We work for different departments so our schedules do not overlap exactly. We leave our house on weekdays by 3:30 a.m. and on weekends at 5 a.m. During the school year we would need a nanny to prepare breakfast and drive him to school.
