AFTER-SCHOOL EARLY-ED NANNY 4 p.m. to 6. 30 p.m. (2. 5 hours a day) x 5 days per week $30 per hour W-2 Description: This job takes place primarily at the family home and is to care for a 6-year-old boy after his school day. Objective is to engage in play-based learning and to stimulate imagination and wonder. Most days should include 15-30 minutes of lessons that maintain continuity with the school classroom. Otherwise, child-led and organic play will be the majority of time (whether narrating Batman or dinosaur stories, building forts, playing in the garden, building Legos, etc). Experience: Ideal candidate will be in the education field, whether working during the day at a nearby preschool or elementary school or a early education student/staff. Other: Ideal candidate can drive but not required.
