Open to ALL US Candidates! Awesome Family in Venice Beach is Searching for an Amazing Live-In OR Live-Out Nanny to help care for their three children (ages 2, 4.5 + 12 years old)! Dad is a psychiatrist and mom is a nurse, mom is going back to school (will be doing school work from home) and they will need extra support while she is in school, as well as when she starts in her new role! These are busy but involved parents who LOVE their kids, and want to find a nanny who will love them as well! They live in a recently renovated/built 2-story house with an amazing rooftop deck, there are kitchens on each level of the house. The kids + parents reside on the 2nd floor, and you will reside on the 1st floor. You will be provided your own private room and bathroom as well as access to your own kitchen on the 1st floor. It's a gorgeous location, their rooftop deck overlooks the ocean! They have a 2nd house in Santa Monica that they occasionally spend time at as well! LOCATION: Venice, CA (the family also has a home in Santa Monica) SCHEDULE: 40-45 hours/week minimum (with the possibility of extra hours if you're open to it!) Schedule flexibility is KEY because their needs are going to be evolving. Currently, their youngest is at home all day, so your schedule would be Monday-Friday 8 AM-6 PM, however, when he starts school you will work a split shift (morning hours, break in the daytime, and then helping out again in the afternoon/evening). Additionally, you must be willing to work weekends when requested! COMPENSATION: $70k-$80k/Year (based on 40-45 hours/week, annual salary will increase if you work more hours) QUALIFICATIONS: Passport and Travel Ready (travel is RARE, but they would love their nanny to be able to tag along if they go on a trip) Confident Driver with Reliable Vehicle Up to Date on Vaccinations (or willing to get up to date) Pet Friendly (they have a cat, and plan to get a dog in the next few years) Experience with Toddlers-Teens Strong Swimmer Your duties will involve everything related to the kids, getting them ready for the day, helping with school drop off and pick up, transporting them to and from any activities or play dates, engaging with them in playtime, preparing their meals + snacks, keeping track of their items and ensuring things don't run out, grocery shopping, etc. Something on their "nice to have" list would be helping to prepare dinner for the whole family once a week (they're not picky eaters at all), and they would love for you to be flexible when it comes to growth and evolution of your role/duties (perhaps taking on additional organizational projects and family assistant related tasks as you settle into your role).
