Immediate need for two Part-time Childcare Specialist. This opportunity is in a church setting for two candidates with experience working with infants to grade school-aged children. Candidates will be providing childcare during church events, i. e., our weekly small groups and periodic weekday or weekend meetings. Hours: 9. 5 per week Tuesdays 9:00a-2p and 6:30p-8:30p Thursdays 9:45a-12:15p Second Friday of the Month 6:30p-9:30p Duties: Maintain safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children, while leading and/or monitoring activities and play. May including serving snacks and enlisting children to help clean up after themselves. Some diaper changing and/or potty supervision. Check-in children and provide light clean-up after children have been picked up. Knowledge of Children's Bible stories/activities is a plus. Reports to Associate Pastor. Must go through interview process, provide three references, complete application, be live scan fingerprinted, and pass background check. The current schedule will be Tuesdays, Thursdays, and once a month on the second Friday of the month, as listed above. There will also be occasional Saturday or Sunday hours, which will be disclosed in advance. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and be a US or Naturalized Citizen with US Passport or two valid pieces of identification, e. g. state issued photo ID or Driver License and Social Security Card (to be provided on or prior to first day of employment).
