Part-Time Childcare Specialist

Part-time Childcare Specialist opportunity in a church setting for two candidates with experience working with infant to grade school-aged children. Canidates will be providing childcare during church events, i. e., weekly small groups and periodic weekday/weekend meetings. Hours: 8 per week (occasionally more) Duties: Maintain safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children, while leading and/or monitoring activities and play. May including serving snacks and enlisting children to help clean up after themselves. Some diaper changing and/or potty supervision. Check-in children and provide light clean-up after children have been picked up. Knowledge of Children's Bible stories/activities is a plus. Reports to Care Pastor and/or Discipleship Pastor. Must go through interview process, provide three references, complete application, be fingerprinted, and pass background check. Current schedule will be Tuesday-Thursday evenings 6:40p-8:40p, and Thursday mornings 9:45-12:15p. From time to time will also include weekend hours. Good for a student or someone looking to pick-up a few hours of work throughout the year. Must be US or Naturalized Citizen with US Passport or two valid pieces of identification, e. g. state issued photo ID/Driver License and Social Security Card (to be provided on or prior to first day of employment).
