About the job
Our son is friendly, silly, and adventurous! We are interested in someone who has experience working with children with Special Needs. My son is 4 years old with a diagnosis of Autism. We need someone to work with my son one-on-one at his daycare (located in Torrance) and redirect his behaviors when needed. My son gets upset when other kids take the toys he is playing with, and his emotions get too big. He cannot access his words at these times and tries to push, scratch, or hit friends. We need someone who is patient to help redirect my son, and nicely tell him to use his words not his body. Need help regulating his emotions and guiding him through transitions. He needs help sharing with friends. REQUIREMENTS: Must be willing to submit a new Live Scan Form to the daycare- we can arrange this together. 3-4 days per week. 3 hours per day
