About the job
Looking for an experienced nanny to look after our 3-year-old daughter H. H. is a sparkly "girly girl" who loves unicorns and the colors pink and purple. At three she has a sly sense of humor and has adults laughing with her comments. Cognitively she tests at the 5-year-old level- she is wickedly clever. H. is afflicted with Leukodystrophy, which makes walking and fine motor skills challenging. Primary responsibility for caretaker will include learning her physical therapy "homework" routine (we will train you) and conducting it with her on a daily basis. The ability to transport H. (she needs a car seat) to her therapy appointments would be a huge bonus. We can buy one for your vehicle if you are willing to care for it. Her appointments are a little less than 15 minutes away, and she currently goes three times a week. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in caring for physically challenged children. Rates and times are negotiable- again our primary concern is finding another caring set of hands to take her through her exercises.
