Dual-working parents in Studio City are looking for a bright, confident, outgoing and innately helpful after school nanny for their independent 8-year-old. This role is primarily childcare focused, navigating after school pick up (in North Hollywood) and driving to activities (rock climbing, speech therapy, etc.), coordinating/supervising play dates, assisting with homework, and preparing simple snacks and dinner for him. Additional duties include occasional errand running (dry cleaner pick up, returns, grocery store, etc), kid laundry, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and general tidying of common areas and his room. This role is perfect for someone who loves connecting with school-age kiddos! The family spends school breaks and summers at their Ojai home, and would love if their new nanny was open to travel with them. You will be compensated for drive time, and stay in the family's private guest house if staying overnight! LOCATION: Studio City, CA SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 2 p.m. - 7/8 p.m. + occasional date nights Opportunity for overnights when parents travel to New York RATE: $35-40/hr gross DOE QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ Years of Experience Los Angeles Based Strong Driving Record: Nanny car provided Water Safe: Pools at both homes Safety Conscious + Diligent: Their son has severe allergies to egg whites (cooked/raw) and all tree nuts, so you must be extremely attentive and comfortable using an EpiPen if needed.
