A fun and dynamic entertainment family in Sherman Oaks is seeking a cheerful, proactive, and experienced nanny to care for their 5-year-old son, shared between two households. Mom and dad share custody, and you will be the consistent presence in the child's life, working out of both homes based on the custody schedule. They are losing their current nanny due to an unexpected cross country move, and are looking to hire ASAP! The ideal candidate will be patient, energetic, and skilled at creating engaging, fun, and educational activities. The role requires driving between school, activities, and playdates (a nanny car will be provided after a short trial period mileage reimbursed initially), preparing kid-friendly meals, supervising bath time, and assisting with bedtime routines. You'll also handle preparing for the next day by packing the lunch, setting out clothes, and getting the backpack ready. Additionally, you'll assist with grocery shopping, running family errands, and household organization, keeping everything running smoothly. LOCATION: Sherman Oaks, CA (Greater Los Angeles Area) SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 1/2 p.m. - 8/9 p.m. + occasional weekends. If you are open to the morning shift every other week (2 hrs/day) that would be a HUGE bonus! START DATE: ASAP! RATE: $35/hour gross, on payroll QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years of related nanny experience Clean driving record Glowing references from former employers Comfortable supervising swimming (there's a pool) The perfect candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, patient, adaptable, and highly organized.
