A flexible, team-oriented part-time Family Assistant is needed to support a 16-year-old boy who visits his grandmother every other weekend in Santa Monica. Assistance is required even when the grandson is not present, with duties extending to household support. The ideal candidate must be a proactive team player, ready to pitch in where needed and assist with a variety of tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive the teen to and from extracurricular activities and tutoring appointments Grocery shopping and picking up takeout Preparing snacks and light meal prep as needed Running family-related errands and handling returns Feeding the cats and ensuring their care Light housekeeping and general household assistance (note: the family has a chef and a full-time housekeeper) SCHEDULE: Thursday - Sunday | 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (with flexibility to stay later) COMPENSATION: $35/hr (on payroll) QUALIFICATIONS: Clean driving record Up to date on vaccinations (TDAP, MMR, Annual Flu, and preferably COVID) Must be cat-friendly Must be willing to drive your own car The perfect candidate is reliable, proactive, and adaptable, with strong time management skills and the ability to anticipate family needs.
