Loving Santa Monica family with two boys ages 4 and 6 and a baby on the way at the end of February is looking for a Top-Notch Nanny/Family Assistant! They're eager to find a reliable, proactive, and energetic person who will become an integral part of their family dynamic. The two older kids will be in school during the day, so much of your time will be spent with the newborn. Both parents juggle demanding work schedules but cherish hands-on time with their children. They value a nanny who intuitively knows when to step in and support the household or step back to allow for family moments, and who can proactively identify areas that could benefit from their help. Your role will encompass a mix of childcare and household management, including: Managing the kids' schedules and family calendar Making breakfast getting children ready for school Handling school drop offs each morning, pickups and driving to activities (driving children in a family-provided car - electric SUV) Planning and organizing exciting activities and playdates. Engaging in creative, hands-on play - the boys love Legos, basketball, and ping pong Keeping kids' rooms, play areas, and common spaces including kitchen tidy and organized Organizing kid's clothes and doing kid's laundry as needed Managing household vendors and running errands Grocery shopping. packing lunches, preparing snacks and simple family dinners Researching camps, birthday party locations, and attending playdates Taking children to occasional appointments - doctor, dentist, speech therapist, etc LOCATION: Santa Monica CA START DATE: ASAP SCHEDULE: 40 hours a week guaranteed: Monday-Friday 6:30am-9:30am as the required base, with some days extended into afternoon and some evenings/weekends appreciated RATE: $35-$40/hr gross DOE + Health Insurance Stipend QUALIFICATIONS: Highly dependable and punctual Safe driving record Glowing references that highlight your professionalism, reliability, and warmth. Proven longevity in past roles, demonstrating your commitment and stability.
