We basically just need emergency sitters, my 8-year-old son is pretty much independent. We just need someone to watch him and make sure he's not alone when me and my husband are both stuck at work. To make sure he does his bedtime routine and in case of emergencies, like fire or what would be able to accompany my son to step out of the house.
