About the job
Hello, we are looking for a long term for our two boys ages 11 and 13. *****Our 13-year-old son is profoundly autistic.**** He is a sweet boy but he does need more attention than a typical 13-year-old. Although physically he is a teenager, mentally and emotionally he is more like a 4 or 5-year-old. He is very sweet but also has a lot of energy and needs someone loving, patient and kind. He is in school during the day and after school he has therapy in the home. During the summer and school holidays we would need more help during school hours than in the school year. My 11-year-old would need less support but still he'd need rides to and from school and to be taken to after school activities and help with homework. We need someone with a valid driver's license, who is comfortable giving and keeping track of meds and who is proactive.
