This role is through an agency and is approximately 25 hours per week. The caregiver must have availability 5 per week from 12:30pm-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Some flexibility with scheduling is preferred as the child is starting Kindergarten this month. Additionally, the applicant should be able to drive to/from San Mateo and have experience working with neurodiverse and special needs children. This incredible family is seeking a nanny who is open to working with a curious, energetic, and joyful 5-year-old boy recently diagnosed with High Functioning Autism. The family would love to work with someone who is ready to use some creativity and is both compassionate and patient. Ideally, this person will be an extra set of hands and help structure their child's day to keep them engaged. The child does have some behaviors to note: occasional occurrences of slight scratching and spitting when being told "no" during tantrums. Requirements/Qualifications Open-minded and willing/eager to learn Must have reliable transportation to get to and from client's home, clean driving record, Able to lift 30-35 lbs.
