About the job
We are a family of five with two busy working parents and active kids, and were looking for a kind, patient, and responsible caregiver to help support our family with after-school care for our two sons, ages 8 and 9. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 2:20 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Wednesday: 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Duties: Provide support for my 8-year-old son, who has autism. He is limited verbal but his speech is expanding rapidly (exciting!). He will need assistance with things like bathroom support, and we are looking for someone with empathy, patience, and a good understanding of autism. He is loving, fun, and enjoys engaging with others. Assist my 9-year-old son with his after-school activities, including transportation or helping him get to where he needs to be.
