About the job
Hi! Were looking for a kind, experienced babysitter for weekly date nights (Fri or Sat, or both) for our two boys who are 6 and 1 years old. Our 6-year-old is on the autism spectrum. He's sweet, smart, friendly, verbal, and conversational with some speech delays. He's in a gen ed classroom with a 1:1 aide for executive functioning and sensory support. Were seeking someone with experience working with kids on the spectrum (RBT, BT, or aide/teacher). Our 1-year-old is a happy and mellow little baby. He'll be asleep when we leave, but we need someone confident with babies in case he wakes and needs a diaper change or comfort. We'd love to build a relationship with the person who will take the job and may offer additional sitting times in the future. We are located in San Jose.
