About the job
I am a teacher, foundational skills are important to me as is open-play based learning. Social emotional intelligence is important to me as is teaching my children about their emotions and how to handle challenges. Morals and values are very important to my family. The children love singing, dancing, reading books, playing outside. I'm very particular about screen time, what they can and can't watch and the duration of time. They enjoy crafts, painting, coloring, and learning. My 3-year-old is task oriented and getting ready to enter preschool next year. She is potty trained. My soon to be 2-year-old is currently in the process of being potty trained but is in diapers. He needs light support when eating. Both love playing pretend, with play-doh, outside with their bikes. I'm looking for a socially-emotionally intelligent caregiver who has a background in teaching or caring for more than one toddler at a time. They both have a lot of energy, the perfect person will be able to facilitate open ended play opportunities, sing songs, read books, play pretend, support them when time for a nap. In addition, I'm looking for a caregiver who is not authoritarian. Someone who is patient, kind, and flexible would be best. Parking is in front Two small mutts who are 13 years old.
