Overnight Special Needs Caregiver (10pm-6am) For Teenage Boy With Profound Autism

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated home caregiver to provide support for our 14-year-old nonverbal son with profound Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, and Intellectual/Developmental Disorder. Requirement: experience working with children with autism Responsibilities: - Provide One-on-One Support: Assist the teenager with activities of daily living (ie, showering, brushing teeth, toileting, etc.), - Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe environment for the individual and manage challenging behaviors (i. e. self-injurious behaviors) -Overnight staff: Direct teenager back to bedroom and encourage to lay down if he gets up and leaves bedroom; monitor for bowel movement activity if he continues to stay awake after nighttime medication administration Hiring process: Phone interview, home-visit/orientation, 3rd party payroll enrollment
