We are seeking a reliable, organized, and compassionate individual to assist with both childcare and household management. The ideal candidate will be proactive, nurturing, and able to efficiently manage both childcare duties and light household tasks. In childcare, you'll play a key role in ensuring the kids' daily activities are engaging, fun, and age-appropriate while maintaining a smooth, organized environment. You will be responsible for picking up the children from school and driving them to after-school activities. You'll also plan and organize activities that are both entertaining and educational. Meal preparation will include preparing and serving nutritious, balanced dinners for the children, and you'll assist with their evening routine, including bath time, bedtime preparation, and light tidying up of their spaces. You will help implement household routines and ensure rules and discipline are maintained in a gentle, consistent manner, fostering a positive, supportive atmosphere. In terms of household management, you will handle the children's laundry, from sorting and washing to folding and putting clothes away. You'll also manage grocery shopping and run errands such as returning packages, buying birthday presents, and other day-to-day tasks. Light household chores, including tidying up common areas and maintaining an organized home, will also be part of your responsibilities. While you don't need to be a professional chef, you should be comfortable preparing simple, healthy meals and assisting with meal prep and organization. Additionally, you will keep track of household needs such as making grocery lists, ordering essentials online, and taking care of dishes (knowing what should go in the dishwasher versus what requires hand washing). You'll also be responsible for managing the children's wardrobe, ensuring they have necessary items, and shopping for any additional clothes as needed.
