A loving family in the Richmond district of SF is seeking an educational, engaging PT nanny for their sweet 1-year-old girl! Responsibilities include planning fun, stimulating outings and activities, child's laundry, light tidying, and preparing solids/baby-friendly meals and snacks. Most importantly they are looking for someone who will be focused on introducing their daughter to new experiences, museums and classes, and help her explore the world around her. Their ideal candidate will prioritize their daughter's development and follow her lead and interests. SCHEDULE: Friday 6 hours per day (morning or afternoon) 4 hours per week in the evening (flexible / open to discussing candidate's availability and preferences) There could be an opportunity for additional hours Experience Requirements 2 years minimum experience working as a nanny with excellent verifiable references Educational Requirements Background in Early Childhood Education preferred Fluency in English Qualifications COVID vaccinated (booster not required) TB and Tdap CPR Certified Valid driver with clean record and reliable vehicle for driving the child to activities (family will reimburse for mileage) Background in Early Childhood Education Focused on development and making sure child's needs are being met Takes initiative for planning activities Warm Trustworthy Reliable Friendly Calm, relaxed personality Professional Conscientious Excellent communication Responsibilities Childcare-related: Engaging with child Helping child meet milestones age-appropriate development Preparing child-friendly meals and snacks Helping with developmental transitions Child's laundry Light tidying (nursery, common/play areas)
