I've got a newborn, so my ideal caregiver is someone who is very attuned and patient and can embody a field of loving welcomeness, and needs to be creative enough to find solutions to the baby's shifting needs. We're into Montessori/RIE and other approaches that involve supporting kids (and people in general) at the level they're at and not demanding more from them than they're capable of.
