Job number 10077 Full-time Family Assistant Location: SOMA/Yerba Buena, San Francisco Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. = 45 hours per week, family needs flexibility to adjust start and end time one or two hours later in the future. Children: Newborn and 2 years old (oldest child is in preschool the majority of the day) Duties: Childcare, driving children, light housekeeping, family laundry, meal prep and simple cooking, errands and grocery shopping, online ordering, scheduling children's appointments and service personnel, setting up schedule for household tasks, managing the household calendar and manual Requirements: Ideal Candidate has at least three to five years experience caring for children of similar ages, has a pitch-in, can-do attitude, strong communication skills, and is equally and fully comfortable with the family assistant duties as well as the childcare duties. Driver with a car required, family can provide parking. Candidate must have or be willing to obtain vaccinations including COVID and the boosters, annual flu shots, Dtap and MMR. Ability to travel four to six times per year for up to a week a plus. Family may be moving to San Mateo County in the next six to nine months, and they would like to Candidate to continue working for them if they move. Swimmer and Hindi or Urdu speaker a plus, not a requirement. Montessori teaching or daycare experience also a plus. Salary: $30-$40 per hour, guaranteed pay 52 weeks per year, two weeks paid vacation, five paid sick days, and six or seven paid holidays NOTE: This position will be heavy Family Assistant duties until Mom goes back to work in a few months, and then the balance may shift to more childcare focused.
