About the job
Our 4-year-old is autistic with moderate support needs, and loves to run (high risk for eloping). He's wonderfully loving and sweet, thrives on routines and does best with verbal prepping before transitions. He does need help with managing big feelings and staying on task, as well as sensory regulation. We are looking for an imaginative, calm, kind, and patient nanny; someone that is fully engaged in play, taking an active role in pretend play, sensory seeking activities, and aiding in emotional regulation when needed. We have lots of sensory tools including nuggets, crash pads, swings, etc and a whole host of toys and crafting supplies to keep him occupied and engaged. We'd like someone that is physically active and able to keep up with kiddo as he is fast and is always moving! Experience with neurodivergence and autism is a must.
