Job number: 10274 Location: San Carlos Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40-45 hours per week between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Family would appreciate a Candidate who is flexible and can work evenings and weekends as needed. Children: 5 month and 3-year-olds, primary care is for infant. Duties: Primary responsibilities include infant childcare (feeding, changing, bathing, putting down for naps, engagement with baby, etc.), preparing meals for children, walking older child to and from preschool, and driving children as needed. Secondary responsibilities include light housekeeping (tidying common areas, picking up toys, washing dishes/bottles/pacifiers, loading and unloading dishwasher, taking out trash as needed, light vacuuming of children's areas as needed, etc.), laundry for family and household, cooking meal kits for family, pet care (letting dog outside, feeding, walking if time allows). Family is also seeking a Candidate who can travel with them domestically and internationally, approximately five times per year. Requirements: Ideal Candidate has several years of infant experience and a basic understanding of attachment theory. Candidate must be loving, calm, patient and curious. Candidate with an Early Childhood Education background is ideal, but not required. The children are the primary focus of this role, but Family appreciates a Candidate who can pitch in with household tasks when children are sleeping and when teaming with a parent or grandparent. The ideal Candidate is flexible and able to adjust to help with whatever the family needs on a given day. Candidate must have or be willing to obtain vaccinations including COVID, annual flu shots, Tdap and MMR. Candidate must drive. Family will provide a car while working. Candidate must be comfortable with a hypoallergenic dog and parents working from home a few days per week. Accommodations: Room in house with private bath.
